History:

SaKhan Dianne Sennet, first saKhan of Clan Diamond Shark, who showed strong support of Clan Blood Spirit in the early days of the Clans.  She led Clan Diamond Shark to victory on Babylon after Khan Kalasa’s death.

SaKhan, and later Khan, Barbara Sennet showed excellent leadership of Clan Diamond Shsrk throughout the invasion of the Inner Sphere and thereafter, allowing the merchant caste the powers necessary to rebuild the Clan after the Battle of Tukayyid while keeping total control of the Clans from falling into their (the Merchat’s) hands.  Champion of Clan Diamond Shark mercantile interests during the invasion of the IS.   She also helped to remove Crusader influence from Clan Diamond Shark during the Harvest Trials.

Star Colonel Drake Sennet, a Trueborn warrior who retired to the scientist caste and subsequently won his Minus-One Trial to take command of the 13th Cruiser Cluster (the Poisoned Spines, Rho Spina Galaxy).

Star Colonel Geno Sennet, commander of the 44th Cruiser Cluster (the Land Sharks, Zeta Galaxy).

Characteristics:

’Mech pilots earning the BloodName Sennet are the foundation of the warrior caste.  They are recognized throughout the Clan by their strong dedication, proficient tactical awareness, and unequaled desire for victory.  They consider a sense of trust among fellow MechWarriors invaluable to the team.  They are strong proponents of honor and justice among Clan society; in the current timeline of Clan Diamond Shark, three Sennets have held the OathMaster's office.

Sennets excel in leadership situations.  They constantly labor to better understand modern ’mech warfare and know when to exploit a situation.  They appreciate fellow warriors who understand the need to improve.  They are always available to others who may need assistance, and one of the most identifying characteristics of Sennets is their continual testing of one another’s skills.

Sennets are trained to utilize every technical and environmental advantage on the battlefield.  They are taught that their Mech is just one element at their disposal.  Not accustomed to fighting from behind cover using Long Range Missiles or artillery, Sennets exhibit and preach fluidity in combat.  They are comfortable riding the heat curve with energy weapons as well as utilizing fast moving close-range autocannon platforms.  Their preferred tonnage class ranges from mediums to heavies, but they always request the most tactically important mechs available for an offensive, regardless of size.
