Order of the Khan

The highest attainable award in Clan Diamond Shark.  Rarely presented, the Order of the Khan recognizes an individual who goes to great lengths to contribute to and improve the Clan, be it on the battlefield or by performing other duties in service to CDS.  This medal confers tremendous honor upon the recipient.

Eye of the Shark (Medal of Honor)

This medal is awarded by the Khan or Sakhan to the pilot who displays tremendous honor through his words and actions during public engagements. Recipients would include warriors who shows proper respect to opposing units, be they Inner Sphere, Clan or other, as well as to his fellow Sharks during battles.

Coral Saber (Medal of Valor)

The Coral Saber is a very significant award among the Touman of Clan Diamond Shark.  It may be awarded by any drop leader with a rank of Star Captain or higher.  This medal is given to the pilot who by his individual efforts proves to be essential towards the success of a drop that would have otherwise been unattainable.  This may include having a high kill ratio but does not require it, as it is well known that sometimes the smartest of pilots does not always end up with the most kills. *

Diamond Cross (Distinguished Service)

The Diamond Cross is awarded to a warrior who distinguishes himself by extraordinary heroism on the battlefield not justifying the award of the Coral Saber. To warrant this distinctive decoration, the act or the execution of duty must be performed in the presence of great danger or at great personal risk.  Any drop leader with a rank of Star Captain or higher may present the Diamond Cross. *

Deathstrike

Awarded by the Galaxy Commander, Star Colonel or Ranking Officer, the Deathstrike is given to the warrior who preserves victory in a single drop by earning four (4) or more kills for his drop team.  As individual kills are not recorded in CDS, this award may seem atypical.  However, simply managing to be in position for four or more killing strikes is proof that the recipient is undoubtedly confident in his skills and deserves the acknowledgment of his clanmates. *

CDS Expeditionary Service Medal

This medal is awarded to any CDS pilot who successfully carries out operations in direct support of other Clans as individuals, or in CDS-controlled operations of assistance to friendly Clans.  Warriors engaged in combat or duty that is equally as hazardous qualify for this award without regard for time in the area.

Good Conduct

The Good Conduct award is given to all CDS pilots in good standing.

Upon joining the clan, the pilot is issued his first Good Conduct Award. Every year, on the anniversary of joining the clan, the pilot will be issued a red strip to be added to his Good Conduct award. Thus the number of years a pilot has served the clan can be determined by the number of red stripes on their Good Conduct award.
