I start out as Dervish, back in 96-97 time frame on AOL when it has Multi Player Battle Tech (MPBT.) I changed my name to Gen Dervish, after being constantly asked to join one unit or another. From AOL I went to gamestorm.com (which is no longer around.) There I joined a unit in the league that was just for MPBT members. The unit I was in was, Armed Forces of the Federated Suns (AFFS.) After about a month in the unit I found myself in charge of two units, gamestorm.com and AOL. At that time I changed my name for the last time to Col Dervish.

While I played on MPBT, I soon became a known name in the game. All the mechs in that game was to BT standard. The Atlas was my best mech. Then they added the IMP IIC. I also liked the Catapult, and the Jenner IIC.

I played there for little over a year and had logged in over 15,000 battles, one of the most in the game.

Gamestorm closed not to long after I left. By then MW3 was out. I started to play that some on line, but the lag was bad. When MW4 came out, I started to play that. I got an invite to join BTU league in CHH. However BTU never got started and the whole unit went to the SL league, under the unit HRR. We played there up to the point I left HRR and tried to start my own unit in SL. That unit failed.

I was then recruited by Acid of CHH in NBT. At the time it was NBT-4 and was running the BK version. With in two weeks of joining, Hammer and I both found ourselves in charge of CHH. We held the command positions up to the end of NBT-M, when we let two other members have a turn at command. At the end of NBT-M, we had lost the CHH slot, and had taken the Clan Coyote slot. By the time NBT-HC had started I found myself once again in the XO slot, with Andy as the commander. A month into NBT-HC, I found myself as the commander of CC.

After a few months of not being able to meet the drop requirements, I deactivate CC. and now I’m here.
